News Flash - Yellow Chicken lives!!
Yellow Chicken Pulls Through Lengthy Surgery to Reattach Severed Leg
Cute dogs at Camp George will be happy to hear their favourite feathered friend has pulled through a lengthy ordeal. For several weeks, Yellow Chicken lay forlorn, with thoughts of continuing life with only one working limb. Thankfully, the coordinator and part owner of Camp George, Auntie Andree, finally managed to secure a reputable surgeon to have the severed limb reattached. Yellow Chicken was also lucky enough to undergo a spa treatment, which left him looking fresh and ready to play with the added benefit of retaining the use of his vocal cords. There was fear that the intensive surgery and spa treatment combination would leave our favourite poultry without voice. A happy ending for all!
'kay, have to run as my mom has to go to a lecture and I forced her to post the latest on YC. Check back later for another post of my weekend in Robert's Creek! Love, CB.

Yellow Chicken - looking healthy and happy
I was so relieved to get the latest on Yellow Chicken as I had formed quite an attachment to him on my last visit to Camp George. I guess I got a little carried away because YC and I were having so much interaction and he was making so many enticing noises I thought he wanted me to play harder!? Oops. Auntie Andree fixed him up real good and I can't wait to have another session with him. Yeah.'kay, have to run as my mom has to go to a lecture and I forced her to post the latest on YC. Check back later for another post of my weekend in Robert's Creek! Love, CB.

Sunshine Coast - Reunion Visit
Mommy and Papa have such nice friends... so we were able to have a lovely visit to Roberts Creek as mommy's birthday treat! It's so nice at J&T's cottage right on the beach. I can scamper out first thing in the morning and goof around while M&D have their morning coffee seaside. We all snuggle up at night in the sunroom with the sounds of the ocean lulling us to sleep - how does it get any better than that?

I think I'll go for another walk! |

Hi to all my loyal fans!
Hi everyone! I have been so busy over the past while helping my mom and dad with all their various studies and pursuits - I have neglected you - my loyal fans. Will you forgive me? I swear on all things meaty that I'll try and keep in touch more!
Of course this time of year is my fav because I get to run around the Hobbit Tree in the garden pretty much every day... and roll around in the grass looking for interesting smells. I can eat my fill of organic grass and sometimes even find an old kale or broccoli stalk to gnaw on - yum. Oh, one disturbing development is that my mom has taken a shine to cutting my hair in the garden!! She is always trimming me up - I mean I like to look good and keep my mohawk in shape but the garden is supposed to be my sanctuary!!
Hope you enjoy the latest pic! Woofingly yours, CB.
Cool colour range huh?!

This is me under Grandma's bench at the garden - catching some shade and a few nibbles!
Me are the beach - helping mom find some cool rusty objects for her textile work.
I practically blend right in!! I love Kits beach.
Hope you enjoy the latest pic! Woofingly yours, CB.
