My mom and dad are so lucky to have such
nice friends.Especially friends like Janice and James that have a place on one of our favourite Gulf Islands - Salt
Spring Island - who were kind enough to invite us for a lovely long weekend!
We call it the Hampton's because that is James' last name - but officially it is 'Hummingbird Haven'.
I had so much fun romping around on the North Beach mooching around with ma and pa for lovely beachy smells and crazy sea stuff. We got to stay in the beautiful bedroom that looked out onto the sea and I was able to keep a good lookout and protect the property from the dreaded Mr. Big.
He is the big bear of a dog that roams the beach and seems to think he can do what he likes. I gave him a stern 'barking to' so he will think twice when I'm back at the Hampton's.
It was nice to just hang out in nature and enjoy the company of friends, hummingbirds, luxurious quiet and fresh sea air. What.a lovely way to spend the Canada Day long weekend!

The dreaded Mr. Big! I think he stole my Seahorse toy that mom brought back for me from Mexico. Good thing I have a whole box of toys to console me. I will have my revenge!
